Nov. 1 – Spring Transfer admission application deadline.
Nov. 15 – Early Decision application deadline. Your submission needs to include the Early Decision Agreement form, which can be submitted directly through Common App if you check the Early Decisions box. If your Early Decision application is submitted and complete by Nov. 15, you will be notified of your admission decision beginning Dec. 15. If you are applying for need-based financial aid and have met the filing deadlines, your financial aid award will be included.
If you decide that Lafayette is your first choice after Nov. 15, you still may submit an Early Decision II application, along with the Early Decisions Agreement form, until Jan. 15 or you may convert a Regular Decision application to Early Decision II until Feb. 1. Early Decision II candidates will be notified of their admission decisions beginning Feb. 15.
Nov. 15 – Early Decision I candidates seeking financial aid must submit a CSS Profile, IDOC and FAFSA for need-based financial aid consideration.

Jan. 5 – Early Decision enrollment deposits due for accepted students.
Jan. 15 by 11:59 p.m. applicant’s local time – Regular Decision and Early Decision II application deadline. Applications submitted after this date will be considered on a space-available basis. Lafayette also accepts applications from high school juniors who will be completing their graduation requirements a year early.
Feb. 1 – Deadline by which Regular Decision students who have applied by Jan. 15 may change their application to Early Decision II. The Early Decision Agreement form must be submitted by this date to effect the change. Applicants will be notified beginning Feb. 15.
March 1 – Early Decision II enrollment deposits due for accepted students.
Late March – Regular Decision admissions decisions and financial aid awards mailed via US mail to domestic students. Notification of Marquis Award or Lafayette Award scholarships are included in the acceptance packets. Financial aid packages, also known as College Financing Plans (CFP), are released on students’ Lafayette portals.
