Faculty and staff share excitement as they move into Rockwell Integrated Sciences Center
After Lafayette has spent months watching the most eagerly anticipated building on campus take shape, Rockwell Integrated Sciences Center is about to open for official business. The state-of-the-art teaching and learning facility will be ready for students when classes begin Aug. 26.
Perhaps no one is more excited for the new facility than faculty members who will benefit from the spacious labs, innovative classrooms, and collaborative social hubs. Rockwell will house the biology, computer science, and environmental science and environmental studies programs, as well as Dyer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Daniel and Heidi Hanson ’91 Center for Inclusive STEM Education, and Office of Sustainability.
The space was intentionally designed to spark and strengthen interdisciplinary connections, a distinctive feature of a Lafayette education.
