Through grants, scholarships, loans, and work study, Lafayette is committed to helping students reach their personal and professional dreams.

Scholarship funds do not have to be repaid. Criteria for scholarships are based on the individual award qualifications. Some scholarships are applied to demonstrated need first while others may be awarded after demonstrated need is met.
Money that students or parents must repay after graduation. There are several federal loan programs that offer fixed interest rates and deferment options, as well as private education loans from various lenders.
Through the Federal Work Study program, students earn money while working for an on-campus employer or one of our off campus partners. These funds are not paid to a student account but rather directly to the student through student payroll.
